‘The Japanese Wife’ a mesmerizing movie by Aparna Sen. The film casts of the movie are Rahul Bose, Raima Sen, Chigasu Takaku, Moushmi Chatterjee & others. ‘The Japanese Wife’ is not a typical Bollywood movie. It’s more about the sensitive tale of hearts. By watching the movie, all may not enjoy as it has no masala in it. The movie later may get many critical acclaim due to its look out on relationships.
The story of the movie is of the two strangers who are far away from each other & are still honestly maintaining their relationships. Rahul Bose, from India & Takku, from Japan both become pen friends & through calls & letters they even get married to each other. Even after 15 years of marriage, the two have not met each other. The physical absence never becomes a hindrance in their life & they continue to be as couple henceforth. In the meanwhile Raima-young widow comes in Rahul’s life where Rahul discovers the joys of parenthood with Raima’s son Paltu. What happens from here forms the rest of the story.
Rahul Bose comes up with mind blowing performance & Raima is fantastic whereas others were ok. Though the movie is based on love genre it will not be loved by many, as the combination of love & relationships has no sort of Bollywood masala & drama in it.
The movie will be loved by selected audience & fans of Aparna Sen.

have you seen Japanese wife ,it is a new syntax in love stories ,unlike our Mr Johar who describes his every movie as “its different” as if its a tomato ketchup he is selling ,movies and stories like this compel people like us to watch ,Hindi movies with great expectations hope the johars .yashs ,and the the dhawans understand our movie needs….
